Meeting at 9 o’clock; Br. Napela being present, he was called to preach. He spoke from Micah 4 on the gathering, also on the doctrine of marriage etc; spoke very well, followed by Br. Hawkins on the same. I added a few words, told them to not think that we wanted to teach to go into any other system of marriage than the one upheld by the law of the land etc. 4 p.m. met again and had the sacrament. Br. Hawkins spoke first on the first and second coming of Christ, spoke well. I followed on the same subject. Br. Napela made a few remarks followed by Br. Kane. Spent the evening pleasantly in conversation with the brethren.
