This day employed variously. About 3 p.m. Br. Rice arrived from Waichu, brought me a letter from Br. Cannon. He and folks are all well over [there]; says he will be with us on Saturday next if the Lord’s will, the branch gradually increasing over there. We are in some trouble about our school.
